Swedish Massage Sessions:
Swedish massage uses five basic strokes; gliding (effleurage), kneading (petrissage), friction, tapping and vibration. These are used to deliver the most relaxation and release of muscle tension as possible. This most typically, is a relaxation massage.
Deep Tissue Sessions:
Uses the same strokes as Swedish, but with more depth and pressure. The therapist may use less pressure while relaxing your muscles and then more pressure as the session continues. Deep tissue feels great and is helpful in unlocking muscle tension. There may be residual soreness that lasts 2 to 3 days after session, and in some cases even some superficial bruising.
Prenatal/Postpartum Sessions:
Prenatal massage aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility for the expecting mother. Bolstering is used to make mother-to-be comfortable and safe. Postpartum massage is great for the new mother, for stress relief, circulation, and adjusting to life with a new baby.

A bodywork session that uses a combination of massage techniques and modalities to best accommodate your needs.

A Touch of Stones: $10
Add a few positioned hot stones to your shoulders and back area during your massage to get a deep muscle relaxation or pain relief in a specific area of focus.

Cancellation Policy:
A 24 notice is required for cancellation, otherwise payment is required. At our discretion, exceptions can be made in certain situations.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late, your session will be shortened by the amount of time you are late, but you will still be responsible for the full price of your session. If your late arrival does not interfere with my schedule, or another client's appointment, you may be offered your full time.

Hot Stone Massage Sessions:
Stones are placed in specific places on the body to warm and relax muscles. Therapist uses hot stones and hand techniques during the massage to relax you and to reach deep tension in your muscles. This is a 90-minute treatment due to the time needed to place and move stones about the body.
